About Erin

Erin Herbe, M.S., BCBA | Special Education Advocate + Behavior Analyst

Erin’s first experience working with children with disabilities was as a behavior therapist, providing 1-1 early intervention services. It was immediately apparent how lives can be positively changed with quality services designed specifically to meet the unique needs of the child and family. In 2009, Erin entered her teaching program where she earned her mild/moderate teaching credential and Masters of Science in Special Education. While completing her graduate education, Erin transitioned to teaching, where she taught 4-6th grade at a Southern California non-public school. After two years, she was promoted to Assistant Principal of the elementary program.

After 4 years in education, she returned to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, earning her BCBA in 2014. There, she developed her behavior analytic skills and continued to contract with various school districts providing school-based ABA programs.

Erin has years of experience in designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, skill acquisition programs, as well as collaborating with various service providers and insurance companies to ensure the best services for her clients. She has first-hand experience at the IEP table in multiple positions, which has assisted in her successful negotiations with various stakeholders.

In 2023, Erin completed COPAA SEAT 1.0 training. She is currently enrolled in SEAT 2.0.

Erin resides in Sierra Madre with her two young daughters, husband, and her blind cat, Larry. She enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.
